✺ Good Condition, wear consistent with gentle-use throughout time. Some subtle weave unraveling is present on handles and color markings within the basket, please reference photos for greater detail.
✺ Size: 12.5 inches in width x 8 inches in width x 2.75 inches in height
✺ Sweetgrass baskets are a traditional craft made by the American Gullah community, which is a small group of black Americans from the low country areas of the southeastern United States. The craft was brought over from Africa over 300 years ago by their ancestors, members of the Gullah tribe, and has evolved to be a respected American art form sold in galleries and collected by many!
